A learning and development specialist, Gary has a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) from Northumbria University. Gary has lived and worked in Malaysia for the last 12 years, holding senior management roles in a range of higher education and communication training providers.
Gary joined LeapEd in January 2018 as a Programme Design and Development Specialist, working on the Trust Schools Programme, the Islamic School Enhancement Programme and the LeapEd Core Series. As well as holding a CELTA and CELTYL, Gary is certified in Human Capital Planning and Investment, ABDI and is working towards his International Coaching Federation certification.
Gary has extensive experience training teachers, government officers and corporate employees across Malaysia. He has a passion for learning systems and Ed Tech and is skilled at applying behavioural science to complex learning challenges. Gary has a passion for applying principles of behavioural psychology to professional development programmes so that participants can make meaningful and lasting change. He strives to make sessions easy, engaging, social and timely so that participants can walk away with ideas they can implement immediately in both their professional and personal lives.
